Work permits

  • Work permit types vary from country to country, which is why it is so important to evaluate each individual immigration case. In some countries, you might need to obtain a separate permit for work, while other countries issue work permits together with a specific type of visa or residence permit.

Visas

  • Visa types vary based on the purpose of the visit to a foreign country. In some cases, you might need to apply for a short-term visa, while other trips will require long-term visas.
  • The purposes of applying for a visa also vary, starting from tourism or business trips, ending with work or studies. Some countries might also have specific types of visas, like visas for startups or digital nomads.
  • After a consultation, the PIRGROUP legal team will determine the most applicable visa type for you.

Residence permits

  • A residence permit allows non-citizens or non-residents to stay in the country for longer than what is typically allowed for short-term visits. It provides legal ground for an individual to live, work or study in the host country under specific conditions.
  • Residence permits also vary by type. Countries usually offer temporary or permanent residence permits, based on the purpose of the visit, as well as the amount of time that the person has already resided in the host country.
  • For highly qualified specialists, the Blue Card offers an opportunity to obtain a residence permit for work. It is intended to make it easier for skilled professionals to live and work in the European Union.

School search

3

Moving to another country can be even more stressful when relocating with children. Supporting your employee in the school search can be invaluable. Considering the importance of education, people certainly want the best for their child.

School search is an important topic to think about as part of the employee relocation process and needs to be considered in advance. It’s important to check all the positive and negative aspects of the schooling system to give children the best education. The decision is an investment in the future and requires careful consideration.

We have years of experience working with all international and foreign language schools in the countries where we offer relocation services.
